Whites tree frogs can live for a long time in captivity, sometimes up to 20 years if the conditions are right. They are not a difficult frog to care for at all, they are ideal starter frogs their setup is the same as any other type of tree frog, except that you want to put stronger plants that can support the frogs weight.

i have two white's, Dylan and Blue.
they are ace, all of my friends are immensely jealous and whenever they come over they go straight to the frogs lol!
they are soooo easy to keep, but you have to be careful not to over feed them too much or they will get mega fat! lol and also cleaning them out is a bit skanky, but its all worth it, they are so much fun!!

Dart frogs are really cool with all the different colours, I'd get a dart or a Green Tree Frog myself. You can do crazy thing's with the enclosures aswell if your creative enough.

My pet Frog is a Leopard Frog, an adorable small sized frog perfect for starters :)
I love their spotted patterns....

Dendrobates leucomelas are quite a easy and hardy specimen of arrow frog. As long as you can get a regular supply of fruit flys and maintain the humidity levels, shouldnt be any probs.
Here's a picture of ours, and our albino horned frog, which are dead easy to look after.

White's are probably the most bomb proof frog available, as they can tolerate temp and moisture extremes outside of traditional amphibian care.
