Exo Terra Background

I have had an exo terra polystyrine background in the back of my viv for less than a week now... i can home today to find a hole in it about the size of a 10p... at 1st i thought Bertie had been scratching at it and pulled a bit out... BUT while ive been watching him this evening... i noticed a cricket sitting on the back wall for a good hour or so... when it finally moved... there was another hole! THE CRICKETS ARE EATING MY BACKGROUND!! anyone else have this problem?? if so... what did u do?? i really dont wanna take it out coz it looks super nice and Bertie loves to climb it...

yeah, the crickets do that. The only concrete way of stopping it is to remove the background.

Or

just put a few crix in at a time to make sure your beardie eats them all before they escape round the back.
