Have no Heat mats?, Another way to heat Rubs/Tubs?

Hey guys, We all know most reptiles need 'heat mats' or heat pads under enclosures for the right animal's temperature at a side/corner known as Hot side, I had a project about having another way of heating than heat mats/pads, its a lil pretty similar, I plugged out the heat mat of one of my Snakes , and got a Hot water bag that is used for those sick people who got colds known as (heat covers) they are filled with boiling water, its got an animated thick plastic skin, I tried using that as a heat source, Either put it under the Tub or on the side from the 'inside' of the tub, I recognized it does a well job in heating the Tub, just as the heat mat does that, Its not as good, as still shouldn't be used for long period, this is a small idea to whoever needs a TEMPORARY heat source, E.G, (i just bought a new snake yesterday, Oh i need to go to petstore tomorrow to buy a heat mat, what could i use as a temporary heat source right now) its mainly for using like 1-4 days MAX, Hope this idea helps to whoever needs a TEMPORARY heat source, It did a well good job with me!.
Note: Water should be changed when its cooled or just for not wasting, Re boil the same water, Really great idea, Remember (TEMPORARY).

There's one small danger to be aware of, the temp. of the water cant be regulated, so if it is going to be used as a temp. means ie for transport etc, be careful not to use boiling water

the water temp could not be regulated, but with a water cover you are sure its warm or too cold for the animal's temp, e.g this cant be used with desert animal, as they require really hot temp, the boiling water barely heats the tub in warm temp and i realized the cover really prevents the strong heat of the water, Unless your using a flimsy or skinny cover, its gotta be secure not to plug the lid out, Your right Wayne, this Could be negative just like anything else, heatmats heatlights etc etc, Just needs an eye open.
