hi tom al you need to know is the temp during the day should be 80-85 with the basking area being 90-95 dropping to around 70-75 at night, bert will need a bowl sturdy and big enough for him to submerge his entire body, i would keep him on paper as he tends to destroy any decor in his viv including bulbs so make sure you put the bulb guard on, as he is a bulb destroyer, we have been feeding him every friday 2x good size rats as he is between 3 and 6 ft when he gets bigger depending on what size you want him to grow average 8-10ft so i would keep him on good sized rats every 5-7days, he is pretty tame at the minute but i would keep handling him cause the last thing you want is when he gets big is too be moody as to me these are strong snakes any more questions let me know them bearded dragons have settled in nicely cheers forgot to mention he does like to hide up so i would recomend a couple of hides if you can just to keep him happy
