Default Sind Krait

Heres one of the rarer animals currently in my collection. This is a Sind Krait, Bungarus sindanus. This species originates from pakistan and is similar in appearance to the Common Krait, Bungarus caeruleus from Indian.
Kraits are notoriously difficult to get feeding in captivity on anything other than snakes, lucky for me this guy took to eating rodents straight away.

He's a stunner Tom, it's great to see something like that, most unusual!

Up to 4ft, this guy is around 1.5ft at the moment, so still got plenty of growing to do.

I dont think anything is known about Bungarus sindanus venom, but presumably its similar to other bungarus species; highly neurotoxic.
