Default Various Elapids

These were all taken today at Rob's shop (Scales and Fangs).
I live just up the road and took a few snakes down today to bring Rob out of the corn snake coma it's easy to fall into whilst working in a shop! Needless to say I think these got his heart racing a bit.

Indo-Chinese or Black and White Spitting Cobra (Naja siamensis)

Western Green Mamba (Dendroaspis viridis)

Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis)
(this was me handling him untill he settled down a bit)

The bulge in the Black Mamba is the remains of food from a few days ago and it has come out looking a lot bigger in the photos than it actually is. Don't worry he wasn't fed then pulled straight out...

Hope you had a good time, you did great with them all mate. :)

What a treat to work with such beautiful animals, the black mamba was just out of this world.

You're welcome to bring them and others in any time mate.

Rob.

Wow, the snakes look fabulous.

The Black Mamba looks like he was quite lively.

And did the spitter not spit at you?

Well done mate, you obviously enjoyed it.
