Did anyone see...
the programme the other night, i think on discovery channel or animal planet... Was called I've been bitten.
It was about people who had been bitten by venomous species, one man was bitten by a Stiletto snake i think it was called and they were saying how in one part of the world there is quite a large number of these snakes but as of yet no anti-venom.
Another man, him and his friend saw a rattlesnake, his friend decided he wanted to keep it, so they put it inside a black bin liner on the back of their truck, needless to say it escaped the bag *rolls eyes* the man grabbed it but didnt hold it close enough behind head, it has the space to turn and bite him.
And...another man got bitten by a brown Recluse... well i had a very traumatic experience with 2 house spiders that night so wont go into that story lmao.
Seriously fascinating to watch though, showed the story of what happened, how the venom spreads, the treatment after the bite.... bit ermmm.... gruesome to watch in parts but fascinating all the same.
As far as i'm aware there is another epsode on this Sunday to at 10pm....!
When i have double checked the channel i will edit it into this post for anybody wanting to watch it.

That programme totally fascinated me, and its amazing to think how much damage they can actually do with such a small ammount of venom :/

There's a report a guy made who milks Stiletto Snakes floating around somewhere on a myspace page I think. Was detailed and pretty graphic stuff, does not look like a nice bite at all.
