Right we have had the discusion about the difference between venomous and poisonous.

Just to recap, Venom is injected and poison is ingested.

Ok so thats that, but what about a spitting cobra? they spit a toxin at the face which will give you the deisired affect.

Have you been venomated or poisoned?

As far as I know, there are no poisonous snakes! Or are there?

Who knows? You decide!!!!

there's two poisonus snakes in the world - can't remember the names but I'll look it up when I get home - and they're poisonus because if you eat them you'll die.

As far as the spitting cobra is concerned I'd still class it as venom because the squirt is more of a warning whereas the actual use of the venom is the injection to kill
