i would have thought different councill tax rates vary, as do risks, and issues that could lead to them.

simply because there is no government guidlines, councils can charge what they like. Councils that dont want DWA animals on the turf can and do up the price, those that are in favor will make it affordable for us.
There is a council in south wales, cant remember which one, charge about 2 1/2 grand.

i remember this i thought it was closer to 3 grand, i think its not that expensive my way, although i should be getting my psl in january and add venemous to it that way i think, will need to look into it more.

I know at one point Cheltenham Borough Council were asking £1,000. The officer in charge openly admitted to me, that he had set this price himself, in order to put people off the idea....
My license is covered by the overall shop licence (well technically we are exempt, as we have a shop license), and that costs me about £80 a year.
