wow..
worse than i though.

the problem is there has to be enough people wanting to save the planet, even if the UK tryed, china and all there waste polution is a majour problem, and they dont seem to care if im being honest.

sad news.

I agree, unfortunately all the really important land such as the Rainforrest belongs to less well off countries, and the only way they can make money is from the land. Perhaps more should be done to pay these countries to look after the rainforrest rather then pay them for the good it produces.

Something just as scary is the paper industry, as well as the I.T I order the stationery for the company I work for. I received an email last week warning that there is going to be a paper shortage within the next few years because the trees aren't growing quick enough to keep up with the worlds demands, after reading it I though this was a scam to try and make me buy bulk loads of paper etc so I phoned my current supplier and he confirmed there is a higher demand for paper then ever before and manufacturers are having problems keeping on top of the problem. This could lead to more land being cleared to plant tree for paper.
