Default Bosc set up

Just a few pics of my Bosc set up, The tank i bought which is a 5x2x2 with a 6inch plinth at the bottom to allow for a 6inch deep substrate as bosc's love to dig, also the viv is glass lined so im able to keep a moist substrate. I built the interior decor myself and its all removeable for easy cleaning!

I used to keep Bosc's years ago, they are great animals. Have you ever given him snails yet??

Na I havnt yet alot of people have told me to try it as it's a joy to watch the little bugger crack them open! Just not to sure where to get some from as I don't want to really use any from the garden!

I used to place a few old pots upside down with a small gap in the garden the snails would reside in those and use them. and I used to keep African land snails which is what they would eat in the wild.
Its great fun to see them munching them although a bit messy lol

Very messy lol , i would rather keep african giant snails as pets and give them normal snails i find in the garden! gosh they are so annoying in the garden everywhere at winter, so buying a bosc would help me get rid of them! as soon they will be allergic to my garden lol
