Default 1 of 2 Reptiles to choose as new Addition to my herps

Hey Guys, By the beginning of this Summer, Im Buying a new herp addition to my collections, I have got 2 choices, Need suggestions what you think its better.
Please Note: I Dont care weather which one is More Difficult/Easier care and supplies, Just care in which is better in behavior etc, + I dont care about the price.
These 2 are:
1- California King Snake (Adult).
2- Green Iguana (Juvenile).

Thanks for your help an support, Blesses.

Well being honest the choices couldn't be more different?! lol

I dont think I know what you keep right now to comment on what would be the better addition to your collection, perhaps you could say what you have now?

Hi, Ok.
All my Reptiles arent that expert ones, The followings:

3 Corns, (Carolina, Snow, Reverse Okeetee)
1 Ball, (Normal)
2 Ornate Asian House Geckos, Het Tangerine and Het Green
1 Crested Gecko, Harlequin
1- Common Slider
1- SpurThighed tortoise

Btw i know green iguanas grow to 5+ ft, Know they need extra care, big research.
I think im leaning toward Cali King , as they have bright Black + White stripe morph, theyre good for handling and playing, They are temperate (that rainforest humidity controling thing is freaking tricky, either its misting or fogger or rain dripping), I barely use misting with my geckos and its driving me crazy (lol). well i think i still need suggestions, bec i fell in love with green iguanas juveniles since i saw them as also the snakes :P.

I'd go with the king snake going by what you already keep.
Don't get me wrong Iggys are cool but they require alot more care, space and attention than a king snake..

Id say to go for what you really want. Both are stunning reptiles with different needs, if you did decide on a iggy there are loads that need rehoming.

Hey Wayne, Right here is my problem, i cant decide what i really want! iv'e always loved green iguanas, gentle and non-aggressive bright green colour lizards, As i always loved King snakes and Milk snakes, Again non-aggressive, gentle and calm snakes, super cute and bright colours.

Thanks to all of you guys with your recommends i agree with the Cali king, I just feel that i wouldn't be owning a green iguana with peace or too early for it! Cali king snakes, Beautiful coloured, i guess easier care and feeding, Great for handling and chilling out with.

Note: I will keep updating you guys, Well in a new thread when i get em or buy my new herp, Peace Out, Thanks for your recommends and Blesses!

Iggys aren't always gentle and non-aggressive lizards, they are very powerful with large claws, which can cause serious injury even if the lizard is not being aggressive. Males tend to be more temperamental than females.

Yes Indeed, they are lil aggressive as adults, I meant as babies, they could rarely bite, As also adult green iguanas not always aggressive, Sometimes, Well maybe most they are tame and just sit quietly on your hand or lap, Still they are kinda dangerous.
Thats why i'm sticking with Cali Kings :P

I think the kings a good idea. Iguanas are worse when they're young not calmer they calm gradually with age and again thats not garaunteed, it can takes years for them too calm thats why so many sadly end up in rescues. Even a tame iguanas have strong sharp claws and can be clumsy with them, i have scars from my "tame" iguana too prove it!

Cali kings are stunning, i have a pair myself and agree they would be an great addition to your collection. make sure you take pics if you get one =)
