I'm Vicki, I'm a student veterinary nurse in Kent. I've always loved animals, and have always been a horsey person. Now I am absolutely HOOKED on reptiles! When I'm qualified, I hope to specialise in exotics, reptiles in particular. I currently have two beardies, a rescue named Stumpy, a 6 year old female lemon phase german giant/german giantX. I took her on in December 2007 with another rescue, Flower, who sadly passed away in the Summer. I also have Tango, a 1 1/2 year old female vittikins beardie, who has prominent black/purple markings along her back, faint tiger striped on her tail and a bright orange beard and facial patterns, who I bought to replace Flower, as Stumps was going crazy on her own. I also have two dogs, Bonnie, a 12 1/2 year old mongrel rescue who we've had for 11 1/2 years, and Jessica, a RSPCA jack rat who came into work as a cruelty case for us to nurse, who I later fostered, and then (for some reason) adopted...not a fan of small dogs, but she is a character bless her. And she's brilliant with the dragons - they both are. Bonnie thinks of them as puppies, and follows them everywhere and guard them - if one of them is about to kamakaze off of the settee or go somewhere they shouldn't, she whines and lets me know. She also washes them - no, really, she does! Jess, on the other hand, doesn't really give two hoots, and lets them climb all over her. She also loves going in the tank with them, the tart.

I was on the other forum, and was on Tom's original forum, "Tom's Dragons", which he had when he was rescuing beardies. You will often see me on here at stupid o'clock, as I do silly shifts at work :P

How I'm loving these two weeks off!!!

Muahaha. Just thought I'd make a little re-introduction, as I am now baaack...don't ask where I've been, I don't have a clue myself. Just been work, work...and work...both at "work" work, home, and college...and occasional sleepings.

And if anyone has any tips to get a lonely beardie eating, it would be much appreciated :( I've used all my ideas and tricks up...
