Smile New here....

Hey everyone,

My name is Laura and I am from Southsea in Hampshire, I am a proud mummy to two bearded dragons named Ammie and Troy, a deaf white cat named Asia and lots of Bengals.

I have been a big fan of lizards and my passion for them started when I purchased my first pet in 1998 a green Iguana named Iggy, he was my wonderful companion who I loved and adored sadly the relationship i was in brokedown in 2002 and my ex decided to keep Iggy with him.

In 2009 I purchased Troy and Ammie and I wouldnt be without them now, they are not only great social members of our family but the cats get along well with them and vice versa, although Troy feels the big water bowls are his place to bathe! The younger cats find this great fun as it means playing in water by my older girl looks on with discust with a look on her face as if to say... seriously clean that don't you realise I drink from that!

I am thinking about adding a chinese water dragon to our family and I have been looking at large corner viv's to go in my lounge, although I am having a hard time to find many, the best I have found so far is £280 standing 6 foot tall and comes with lots of added extra's not saying where in case one of you lot steal it

I have been doing allot of reading and I hope by joining the forum to meet some like minded crazy animal loving people and get to learn a little more from the members with knowledge about water dragons and if they feel they would be suitable for our family.

I hope to load some pictures soon so you can meet my extended family, and look forward to speaking with you all soon.

Many thanks for reading
Laura

Welcome,

Water dragons are very cool, I spend so much time just watching my little guy go about his business they are quite active. What I would say though is don't put a baby WD in a to large viv to start with as they can get stressed with to much space.
