Default My Poor Basil is Cirling

So my lovely tang enigma leo's cirling has increased ten fold. She has started to flip now whereas before it was just the occational head tilting, star gazing and cirling. This is happening now with much more frequency to the point it is heartbreaking to watch her. She hasnt lost any wight as of yet but I am keeping a very close eye on her weight.

My question is when is it not ethicaly right to let her carry on like this. I've told my self that as soon as weight loss occurs and shes unable to feed on her own, I will take her to the vets to be put down. I feel quite evil for it but I don't think its very fair on her any more.

I would just like some confermation that this is the right course of action really.

Sad times :(

I think I would take it to the vet now and have it put to sleep.

im not going on, but i have strong views on the enigma gene, and this post just backs my views up. i really reccomend waiting, but if theres no improvement then have him/her pts.

i really do love the enigmas but sadly because of my bad experiences with them i have not and will not be buying/keeping anymore enigmas, its too much heartache.

anyway Goodluck with her, and im sorry to hear the bad news.

I think there are problems in many Morphs, which is why I disagree with this part of the hobby.

I was looking on another forum the other day and someone asked if there was such a thing a a pink coloured snake to go in her pink viv

i cant understand why people ask stupid things, im very against the enigma gene even if some enigmas dont show any problems, it will always be in them.

Reporting in about whats been going on.

I booked at vets appointment for this saturday coming to have her put to sleep but i appears things was worse than they appeared with her as she passed away yesterday :(

I feel quite bad because i really did'nt want her to suffer at all and to go out painlessly.

I knew the risk that is affiliated with Enigmas but like every one thought 'It wont happen to me' but unfortunatly it did. I wont be getting another Enigma in the future due to this. Some people are very lucky with the Enigma gene but i dont want to put myself through the upset again.

Thanks for the replies.
