Unhappy I'm devastated!

My father and I got our bees today. They come in "nucs" which consists of 5 frames which consists of around 6-7 thousand bees.
My Dad installed his nuc into his hive first. They were all so healthy, buzzing around doing their Orientation Flights circling the hive to get used to their new location...they accepted their hive (you can tell this when a few bees near the entrance sort of have their abdomens pointing in the air).

Then it was my turn to install the nuc into my hive.
I'd say only 300 bees or less out of 6-7 thousand bees survived and those alive wasn't doing their normal activities. There are not enough bees for the hive to survive. The second the cover was taken off, dead bees were falling off and bees were emptying dead bees out...

I've waited for the bees for over a month and have been so very excited. These bees aren't cheap, they are $100 a nuc. I'm really disappointed!

I know that this Rest In Peace section is mostly for reptiles etc but I'm quite saddened about this.

I'm really hoping that I can either get my money back or get another free nuc of bees and start over.
