Rabbits ....
Hi All
I am a newbie on here. I shoot on neighbhouring farmland in my free time for sport and as a service to my farmer friends. It is a .22 PCP Air Rifle which means the kills are very clean brain shots (not full of lead shot).
If I were to pick out the rabbits which had a clear entry & exit wound (i.e no lead inside) is there a requirement for fresh (chilled and delivered within a day/two) or frozen rabbit?
I live close to Rugby and can deliver .... say lots of 3 (to make it economical) within a 10 mile radius. Or you could collect.

wonder if this'll be a touchy subject on an animal lover's forum? As hypocritical as that might seem?
Hmmm..Will be interesting to see
either way every snake keeper I know wouldn't touch a wild rabbit that's been killed via gunshot

Me personally and everyone but 1 person I know of only use CB rabbits bred for feed purpose only, that way we can be sure that they contain no nasties.
This WILL NOT turn into any form of slagging match, we all use dead rodents and rabbits etc...... (well those of us keeping snakes anyway) so morally this offer is a very kind and genuine one but I honestly cant see it going far purly cos they are wild animals.
Thanks for the offer and good luck with the ferrit thing.
Rob.

sorry Roberto but I stand by it. I understand the need not to become like 'the evil place' but I disagree more with bannings and censorship.

don't think so lol. I presume you know what I mean by 'the evil place' - as the four letter acronym gets deleted lol.
the banning references the number of banees from this forum which - though small - seems a bit ott
I also think if someone thinks something is a stupid idea then they should be allowed to call another member out on it - hence the term 'forum'
thats the summation of the post. Feel free to delete once you've read it :)

i got what you meant about the evil place lol.
As for the bannings, people dont get banned for no reason, we have the same rules as other forums just better managed I would say.
Intentionally ripping someone off in the classified, threats of physical violance and spamming will all lead to an instant ban, all of these have been identified by the management team and the bans have been issued.
inapropriate behaviour and breaking minor rules will also be dealt with but in a constructive mannor.
The reason it looks OTT is that we never pulicise the reasons a member has been banned and therefore it just looks like we have got rid of someone else but I can assure you all that all the mods and admin take a lot of time considering our actions.
Hope this helps
Rob.
