Smile how do you feed your snakes?

i defrost mine over the course of the day, but there are quite a few different ways people do it..

i defrost during the day, offer the rat/ mouse by the tail, and with the light on..

how do you feed yours?..

Defrost through the day, then heat the heads with hot water for the fussy eaters.

Defrost throughout the day, on the kitchen side, lol. Much to Alvin's bemusement. I then offer them warm to everything, hanging by the tail from tongs. My new little Carpet though is a fussy feeder so i'm going to try a few different ways of feeding over the next few weeks. This week it's chick scent.

I feed with great caution, all mine go bonkers at food and the amount of times I've been nailed by Green Tree's at dinner time is getting annoying.

I defrost overnight or the day it just depends on the species the D'Albertis will eat during the day but the GTP's at night.

Depending what im feeding depends how i do it. With the big boids/pythons they defrost in a heated room for around 9 hours or so. With my colubrids et all on pinks/fluffs/mice i use very hot water and then let them dry quickly on some kitchen roll before offering.

Defrost overnight. All of them are fed with tongs and one side of the viv is used for feeding, the other for getting them out. This only really matters wiff les burms but I think it's good practice to stick to a routine.

I use tongs and strike feed my royals , angolan...the jcp just flys out her viv , grabs the rat then climbs back up on her branch giving me that look that only carpets can give lol
