Confused and annoyed!!!!
I can not work out if my Bredli is gravid or not and it's really getting up my nose lol.
Here's why. Its both of the bredlis first year to breed whilst prepairing them for breeding, I had to introduce the pair early due to a thermostat problem, so they wasn't cycled as they should have been.
However I haven't seen them locked but I did see nodding and tail lifts from them. She has pilled on waight in the right areas as if gravid, When she is coiled up over a log/branch I believe I can see lumps but i can not feel any thing that would suggest folicules/eggs.
I tried feeding her she did take although not the usual aggresive strike reaction that i would normally get from her.
She is still placid not aggy by any degree. She has been Basking but not as I have witnessed from other gravid carpets I have bred.
This is my first time breeding Bredli and thier first year aswel, so I wasn't expecting any thing to happen this year but some of her behaviour suggest she is gravid and other behaviour contridicts.
Has any one got any thoughts on this??? Have you bred Bredli's before???
I also have a harris jungle fe-male that I pulpated the other evening, I felt perfect folicules around 1" diametre so she is 100% ready to go but I'm not sure Mr Bananas ( jungle jag) has done the deed as I've seen no locking or even interest from him lmao.
So you Can imagin my frustration of this years breeding plans with the Morelia species lol..
Deano.........
