Corn snake shedding

I have a two year old corn snake which sheds is skin every 4 - 6 weeks. There have been no problems in the past with shedding however, last week it shed and the skin did not come off in one piece. Virtually all of it did except for a patch about 2 - 3 cm long on its back, near its head. Should I be worried? The snake does not seem to be ill in anyway, and is still lively and eating fine.

you should try to remove the left over skin as it will start to dry out and shrink which can damage the scales undernearth and could even cause scales to die off, this can be done as easily as just letting the cornsnake swim in the bath or using a container with a lid filled with warm water then letting the snake slither through your hands while gripping firmly.
