Increasing food size

When should i change from pinkies to fuzzies, my 09 milksnake is on 2 pinkies every 6-7 days feds every time even when blue and is growing well, but milksnakes are a slender snakes and his belly girth is not much wider then a pinkie so dont know if i should change food size yet and now he is acting very hungry when presented with the pink's.
when i kept ratsnakes it was not hard to tell when to change.

how long has be been on 2 pinks, and how old is he?
They say food iteams 1.5x the girth of the snake from what can remember, i may be wrong, but i think its that...

Give it a go, As long as the Fluff is'nt over twice its girth it should be fine.
You'll be suprised at the size of prey a snake can handle. Two pinks dont carry as much nutrients as a fluff.

not quite sure when born i got him september 09 and he has been on 2 pinks for just over2. 1/2 months. think i'll just take a chance and try him on a fuzzy this weekend.

Tried feeding ludo a fuzzy tonight, stupid snake starts of by eating it bum first so cant get it down and has spit it out and then when he found the head he started to then stopped and spat it out so i covered the container and left him to it, when i came back it was gone and ludo was much fatter. what a clever little boy.

I had to go out today a buy smaller fuzzy's, poor ludo couldn't eat the last one i offered as it was like a godzilla of a fuzzy. smaller fuzzy's where much better now have a happy full snake.
