Cool white spots...

what is it when the mice/ rats get white patches over them from feezing, like pinks, and weaners?..
i was told ages ago, and forgotten, and cant remember if you can use them if they have this.

They are ice burns Tom. If the prey item only has a few and the particular reptile your feeding has a high metabolism I.e boscs and simular monitors or colubrides/hots it shouldn't be a problem using them. But if it is covered in them I'd personally chuck'em as they could rot in the gut supposed to being injested.

ah yes, ice burns, i remember now, il throw them out then, its just a bag of 30 pinks that have them, i forgot i had them till i went in the freezer to see what i had, lol
