hi, guys, now DO`NT FAINT!! but we spent an hour or two at our local rep shop and we came home with a chillien rose!! i hope she/ he is`nt aggressive, she has a leg missing the man said it will grow back when she sheds. we have called her pepper

Hey mate my mature male is fine lol, but all my af's are really nasty tbh but my rcf sub adult female is the worse eats great but wants to get everything that goes near the tank lol.

they are lovely, i have a chille too, shes so sweet and very calm... she was so easy to keep i ended up getting a mexican red knee and a curlie hair and a white striped red rump lol lol

Nblade, chile roses can indeed be aggressive, & not, IMO, the beginners' species they are claimed to be. my own chile lets you near her when she feels like it- otherwise she rears up. best beginners' ones are mexican redknee, curlyhair, brazilian black, chacoan goldstripe, & common pinktoe. none of these usually bite.

Hi mate , my rose "Hendrix" when i first got it, was very aggressive 2 but now she's chilled out and i let her wonder around my sofa and stuff,
I'm a beginner on this hobby, and i always been freaked out about spiders, now i can't stay a day without admire them.
they easy to look after and they different from other pets.
im sure with time even you rose will chilleout !!

according to lee at spidershop (you'll find this info on his website), aggression in chile roses is usually caused by keeping them too warm- they should be kept at the lower end of the scale for t's- about 70-75f, no warmer.
