set up sounds cool mate,for the first few months they never seem to gain
any weight as i started out with two.
small weight gain is good,i find with mine try and hold off putting food in until
the lighting has been on for a few hours that way they are full of beans when they see food,
imo if you have two really young torts it will take at least 3-6 months till they feel
happy to let you watch them eat proper strange lil buggers some times.
also you could try putting them in a smaller tub that will fit on your tort table
at feeding times the less distractions the better ie lack of sub to hide in
and anything thing else they care to mess with lol.

should of asked sooner how old and how big are they?
